There are some enticing incentives on offer from developers right now to help you along the way.

From cheaper mortgage rates to thousands in cash back, let’s take a look at some of the most attractive new-build home perks available across the UK.

1. The perk: interior-designed furniture and accessories

3. The perk: up to £25,000 towards stamp duty

4. The perk: a fixed-rate mortgage at 2% interest

Uncertainty around the cost of borrowing can make buying a new home feel daunting. 

Some housebuilders are helping the people who buy from their developments, by ensuring they pay a fixed-rate rate mortgage of 2% for the first two years.

How? If a buyer’s mortgage rate goes above 2%, the housebuilder will pay the extra.

This sounds great, but of course buyer-specific criteria and terms and conditions apply. So make sure you read the small print thoroughly.

5. The perk: a free electric car worth £44,000

The current recommended retail price of a Polestar 2 is £43,950, but the higher spec models cost more than £60,000.
