Our latest House Price Index is out now, revealing the new national average house price across the UK in April 2024 is £264,500. 

Let's take a look at some hot properties for sale around that price point (with some cash left over in some cases), including a home in a converted Italianate-style Victorian hospital and two homes that have hot tubs.

This pretty ground floor flat with a private garden (not to mention some impressive and rather tropical plants!) would make a beautiful home.

Frayslea is less than a mile outside of Uxbridge, so this home offers all the benefits of outer London, good transport options to the centre, as well as a wealth of great walks nearby.
