Alto launches new mobile functionality to support agents on-the-go

1st November 2022

  • Alto’s new mobile functionality will enable agents to view their calendar, manage their diary and look up contacts in Alto via their phone

  • Mobile functionality was the most requested feature by Alto users and will enable them to be flexible outside an office environment if viewings are cancelled or need to be rescheduled

  • The launch of mobile functionality follows a range of recent improvements to the software including a new integration with Vouch and enhanced lettings experience

Alto, the leading cloud-based software for agents and part of Zoopla, has launched new mobile functionality to support agents on-the-go.

Mobile functionality was the most highly requested feature by Alto customers and will enable agents to operate much more flexibly when outside the office and attending viewings.

Using the new functionality agents will be able to search for contacts on their mobile to access phone numbers, email addresses and other key information when outside the office.

They will also have the ability to manage their diary from their phone - and view appointment details such as notes, contact details and full address (which can be opened directly in maps) and view their full calendar to see all their appointments in one place - as well as cancellations.

Alto customers interested in using Alto’s mobile functionality can find out more at Alto Agenda.

Commenting on the launch, Andy Marshall, Chief Commercial Officer at Zoopla said: “Alto is all about driving efficiencies for our customers and this new functionality should not only save them time - but also make it easier than ever to be in close contact with their customers - and provide a better experience as a result.”

Carrie Alliston, Group Lettings Director at Hunters said: “The agents across the country who are part of the Hunters Network have been most impressed with the new mobile-friendly version of the Alto diary. When you are a busy agent ‘on the go’ being able to see your diary live when you’re out is so convenient and along with being able to click to dial, click to view in maps, see what’s coming up later or tomorrow, see viewing notes and get instant refresh when new appointments are added all helps a lot.”

Mark Robinson, Director at Robinsons estate agent said: “We’re really loving the new mobile functionality in Alto. Life on-the-go is now far easier as I no longer have to extract the diary to my iPhone before heading out of the office. This is a big time saver and has really streamlined my day-to-day.”
