Best Golfer in UK Residential Property Revealed

The challenge to find this year’s ‘Best Golfer in UK Residential Property’ was concluded yesterday at the final of the Zoopla Charity Classic 2012 which took place at the world-famous The Belfry golf course.
Darren Loose from Martin & Co. Letting Agents in Ringwood, Hampshire saw off stiff competition from fellow agents and developers, securing himself as the overall winner of the 2012 Zoopla Charity Classic Cup and being crowned ‘Best Golfer in UK Residential Property’.
Over the last four months, 260 UK residential agents and developers have battled it out on golf courses across the country in the regional qualifying rounds of the The Zoopla Charity Classic 2012 with just 40 securing a coveted place in yesterday’s grand final at The Belfry.
This is the first year the Zoopla Charity Classic has been held and, as a result of its success, will now become an annual event on the property calendar. Each year the tournament will support a charity selected by Zoopla.
Whilst the trophy and ultimate bragging rights go to Darren Loose, regional bragging rights in the qualifying rounds each go to:
- Manor House, Wiltshire - Peter Morgan - Peter Morgan Estate Agent
- The London Club, Kent - Lee Goodchild - Greene & Co/li>
- Woburn, Milton Keynes - Edward Baskerville – TW Gaze
- Carden Park, Cheshire - Dean Tyrrell - Myler & Co Estates
Zoopla has committed over £75k to charity so far this year with the golf tournaments helping to add to that figure as well as providing a fun day out and chance to meet up with industry peers for agents and developers across the UK.
