Zoopla signs exclusive deal to power property search in new Kirstie & Phil iPhone app

6th July 2011

Zoopla announced today that it has signed an exclusive deal with BBC Worldwide to power the property search function on a new iPhone app by property duo Kirstie Allsopp and Phil Spencer.

The new app will effectively give users the benefit of having Kirstie and Phil in their pocket, providing them with comprehensive guidance through each stage of the house buying process from the first viewing to making an offer and, finally, closing the deal.

The exclusive agreement will provide hundreds of thousands of listings for users to search and make enquiries on directly from the Kirstie and Phil app and will provide even wider reach and greater exposure to agents advertising on Zoopla.

Alex Chesterman, Founder & CEO of Zoopla said: "We are delighted to be partnering with BBC Worldwide on what is sure to be a very successful property app. This partnership is a win-win, giving users of the new Kirstie and Phil iPhone app access to all our property listings and driving even more enquiries to our member agents."

William Miller at BBC Worldwide said: “The app is the first to combine an extensive property search function with great tools to help buyers manage their individual search, from tracking and scoring viewings, calculating finances and doing the deal to managing the move. As such we hope it will go some way to keeping the process stress free for house hunters, as well as on budget.”

Further details about the app can also be found on Kirstie and Phil’s website

About Zoopla

Hello. We're Zoopla. A property website and app.

We know you're not just looking for a place to live. You're looking for a home.

Yeah, we've got over a million properties for you to browse.

Tools that let you filter them in all kinds of clever ways.

And reliable house price estimates, so you can be sure you aren't paying over the odds.

But we know you're looking for more than that.

Because that first flat won't just be a 'great investment opportunity'.

It'll be the feeling of starting out on your own.

That extra bedroom won't just mean another £20K on the re-sale price, it'll mean having your sister over to stay.

And that bungalow won't just be a way to release some equity, it will be a chance to spend more time with the grandkids.

We know that searching for a home is about more than just checking its price, location and features (important as all those things are).

What really matters is how it makes you feel.

We know what a home is really worth.

So let us help you find yours.
