Zoopla unveils landmark vision that resets strategy, puts agents in control and optimises commercial opportunities for customers

Zoopla has unveiled its transformative vision to agent customers. Fuelled by innovation, the vision will leverage growth opportunities for both the housing market and Zoopla’s agent partners over the months and years to come.

 

After 18 months of development, and millions of pounds of investment, the foundations of the vision are in place, ready to orientate around agent need and power their path to growth. Harnessing Zoopla’s influence as a leading consumer brand, as well as its heritage and scale, the vision will keep consumers engaged year after year, on and off-portal, across the lifecycle, ultimately galvanising the market. 

 

The vision will:

  • Provide unrivalled, data-led, market intelligence from across the Zoopla consumer base and wider property market, offering insight into homeowner and home mover behaviour. This will help to fine tune agent marketing spend, ensuring that it reaches the right audience at the right time, supporting each agent as they continue to be the expert in their area.

  • Guarantee regular innovation that drives growth and propels agent businesses forward; examples to date include Zoopla’s new tech platform, AdReach pre consideration leads, Product API, Pinterest, PropertyFile, a leading partnership with Focal Agent, and new revenue opportunities via the modern method of auction.

  • Maximise customer collaboration; agents will be invited to participate in the Product Research Panel, to refine the product pipeline and ensure Zoopla’s expertise is laser-focused on easing the most pressing pain points and maximising nascent opportunities.

  • Deliver a seamlessly integrated ecosystem of products and software, designed to transform the world of estate agency, providing a one-stop-shop for agents, homeowners and home movers. 

  • Implant agent customers in the driving seat, with easy access to products and tools when they need them, for a bespoke Zoopla experience. Set up for success, agents will be supported by flexible pricing to suit business need and size, and will be able to manage their spend across the ecosystem, all supported by best in class customer support that realises each agent’s path to growth.

 

Innovation will continue at pace throughout 2021, setting a new benchmark for portal excellence, with the next round of launches coming in the second quarter. At the forefront will be a brand new homeowner experience, empowering homeowners the length and breadth of the country with everything they need to know about their home. Agents will also benefit from a game changing solution to vendor targeting and prequalification, resolving two ongoing pain points that will enable a rapid power-up for customers.
